Weekly EWB Engagement Nights

This semester, we are starting something new, something very exciting, and hope you really share this excitement with us as we begin the term. Each, yes EACH and EVERY week we will hold these great interactive socials. These Weekly EWB Engagement Nights are meant to be fun ways you can get involved in Engineers Without Borders, while also taking away with you some great tools for getting you to think about international development. Its a great way to meet some cool new people, and kick off second semester in a positive enthusiastic way. We really hope to see you there, because we are PUMPED for it.

Root Causes of Poverty

This January, all first years will learn what it is to analyse a complex problem, one of the most important complex systems in the world, extreme poverty. These workshops are designed to get students to think about how many different issues impact and influence other issues, and through mapping these effects, we can gain a better understanding of the complex nature of extreme poverty in the developing world.

Dan and Boris's International Development Workshop

Dan Ohson and Boris Martin are McMaster Alumni that have had a chance to go overseas and really see what life is like there. They've decided to drop by the chapter and share this with us. Come out on Thursday, January 14th to the Chem Room in JHE to get part of this amazing story.
